Pros
Shows are simple to produce, content is not rocket science. They tell new hires the hours are 9-6, which might be the case for some, but not all. Many hours spent doing a double workload because upper management refused to ask CEOs for needed support. Offices are in sketchy locations- one employee witnessed a murder next door while walking to the building and could have gotten shot.
Cons
Heard more than one employee refer to Pie Town as the "special ed class of production" which is awful. No one in town respects the company because they don't produce to industry standards (no permits, no location budgets, cheaping out on every vendor for free services, etc.) Insultingly low pay, very clique-ish atmosphere. If you didn't go to Emerson, don't bother going to Pie Town. You won't be promoted and the Emerson people are entitled. Owners uninterested in fixing problems and would rather bury their heads in the sand. Company is losing most of its programming.
