Pros

Unlimited PTO is the only pro

Cons

- many lay offs - didn’t have a ceo for over a year - past ceo lied to us about how the company was doing - management sucks in general

Thank you for your feedback, I’d like to address some of the points in your review. PlanSource was without a formal CEO for 6 months but during that time, they implemented an Office of the CEO with several of executives who worked closely with our Board to keep initiatives and projects on track. During that time, our Board also took the time to recruit the right leader for the company. I recently started at PlanSource as the CEO in June. I can tell you that transparency is very important to me and while I can’t change what prior leaders did or said, I can tell you how I operate. I hope you had an opportunity to attend our recent company town hall where I shared my leadership style, thoughts about PlanSource and my vision. In reference to your comment about many layoffs, I know the PlanSource team had to make a difficult decision recently like many other tech companies and do a small reduction. While all reductions are incredibly difficult and impact people’s lives, the company kept it as small as possible. I’m excited about this opportunity to be at PlanSource and I hope you are encouraged by positive change. Mike Morini CEO

Pros

Exciting company culture and fast paced. Management wants their employees to succeed and thrive.

Cons

Some leadership changes towards the end of my work there, but it seems like that has been smoothed out.

Pros

Remote or Hybrid work schedule, if you live outside of the city limits. Unlimited PTO policy, but is PTO ever unlimited.

Cons

There is not much room for advancement, if you’re not connected. Most of middle management and above are not POC. All the strong POC leaders were here today, gone the next day! The staff is overworked and underpaid. Only way to receive a higher salary is to resign and reapply. I survived a few CEOs, and once this last one came in all the tenured staff were being let go. Normal, if a new Executive comes in but there people were 15+ years in. This new PlanSource does not seem as if it cares much for their employees. Most of the workload is being outsourced to India. I’ve seen good, hardworking dedicate people get axed during my time! Not sure they’re invested in retaining good talent! Definitely a swim or sink culture, You will not get much help with learning the Benefits Admin system. It’s sort of a self-guided dive in approach.
