I joined Planet IT in April 2025, having previously worked for a large corporate organisation specialising in Private healthcare, so transitioning to a medium‑sized IT business was a significant change, and I initially had some reservations about moving, However, those concerns were quickly put to rest, and the experience has been extremely positive. From the outset, I have always felt so supported and welcomed. The colleagues I work alongside are highly professional, knowledgeable, and everyone has been so approachable, which contributes to a strong sense of collaboration across this organisation. There is a clear team ethos, with individuals working collectively to achieve shared goals. . Planet IT’s culture is a particular strength. The company consistently demonstrates their values through their work ethic and the way employees are respected and supported. There is a genuine commitment by the senior management team to create a positive working environment where people are encouraged to perform at their best. There is a strong focus on customer satisfaction throughout all the teams in the business, where everyone is aligned in their approach to delivering high‑quality service, and there is a shared commitment to going above and beyond to meet customer needs. Planet IT is genuinely the best place I've ever had the pleasure of working where everyone's opinion is important and genuinely valued. If you put the work in the rewards are almost endless, from monthly recognition and spot bonuses to yearly awards and regular team building activities. Promotion paths are clear and well laid out with support to attain this along with planned training to achieve certifications across the year. Not only are the people at Planet IT highly knowledgeable and great to work with but I can genuinely say that the team are much more than just colleagues, but friends as well. The same can be said for the company owners and founders who are transparent, accessible and when they're in the office, sit alongside the rest of us rather than hiding away in an office. Everyone is hugely supportive and flexible around any of lifes challenges that come at us all at some point.
