Pros

If you love plants and people it can be very rewarding.

Cons

No real training or sharing of key information that would help you be succesful. Lack of communication is a big problem and they overload techs with way too much! Your exspected to work miracles on dead ,dirty plants at distressed accounts that have just been given to you! Without correct info such as where it is, who your contact is,incorrect inventory. If you need guidance or have a question while in the field GOOD LUCK! The wear and tear on your vehicle isnt worth it. They also dont pay you what you are owed...like mileage reimbursment!! I could go on and on! This is very sad to me. I worked here 25 years ago and it was awesome! The Company treated employees with dignity and repect. And gave techs support in the field. I feel like upper mgnt isnt really aware what is going on right under their noses! Chor Values are a joke! Not a single value was applied to me.

Pros

You get to work with plants in mostly indoor spaces and while the job is physical, it is not taxing. Will help you improve your customer relation skills. The people that work at this location are supportive and flexible, so long as you do what's asked of you. There is a high degree of autonomy during work hours, so you control your breaks and can alter the order of client accounts if needed. If you're a good worker and excel at the job, you can expect pay raises.

Cons

Most of the major holidays are given off, but Thanksgiving to New Years is an incredibly busy time of year, particularly for Installers - don't expect to get time off. The sales team has a hard time saying 'no' to client requests which sometimes leads to difficult accounts that require extra attention and extra time. Some clients can be rude and you must keep your cool.
