During my time at Planview, I experienced a concerning lack of fairness in how sales leads were distributed. Certain employees consistently received the best accounts—not based on performance or merit, but seemingly due to favoritism or internal connections. When I raised this issue with my manager, I was told to “eat the frogs,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
This culture of favoritism trickled down from leadership to team managers, creating an environment where field sales reps had to work harder with fewer opportunities, while others were set up for success.
If you’re someone who thrives in an equitable and transparent work culture, this might not be the right fit. However, if you're comfortable navigating office politics and can tolerate internal biases, you may have a different experience.
