After a failed funding round, which we were told "the check is already written" and a subsequent layoff, the CEO decided he's ready for his exit strategy. If you're thinking that fintech is exploding, you're right, but THIS fintech is about to blow up and not in a good way. Good luck to everyone who survived the layoff, for now.
