Pros
Teams work well together. The work environment is friendly and positive. The work is varied, and you are unlikely to get stuck working in obsolescent technology. Job stability is very high and the pay is generally good.
Cons
Management has no vision. Most of the work you will do will never make it to market. Directions change faster than products are developed. It is very typical to let multiple departments compete to address the same need, resulting in multiple products, most of which are flushed. Product design is typically driven by politics, not by consumer needs.
