-Humongous two-tier staff treatment. 3 month contractors are treated like expendable staff in comparison to 12 month contractors and permanent staff. Staff on rolling 3 month contracts are not eligible for the annual bonuses that 12 month contractors and staff on permanent contracts are, even if they work all 12 months of a given year, despite them working the exact same job and doing the exact same job roles as those on the longer term contracts. -SIEE seem to be working towards phasing out permanent staff as they rarely take any one, and the ones they do ... -Brown nosing is rife, with cliques formed solely to further the career of those belonging to said cliques. -Secondments are how they internally interview for positions within First Party. However, these secondments are awarded purely on if the person dealing out the secondments likes you, and as such relevant prior experience to joining the company and qualifications have no sway in the decisions made. -Unprofessional treatment of staff by management and lead testers with a clear "Old Boys Club" attitude. -Workers are not offered equal opportunities to develop their skills and demonstrate them. -Low wages for the role, but given there are no other big studios in the area they know that they can get away with it as there is nowhere else to go. -Increasing outsourcing to offices in India for cost reasons has a lot of staff on-edge and believing that SIEE First Party Test will be relocated to Bangalore before long if the cost savings justify it to the Sony higher-ups.
