Pros

Flexible As a working mom who values a healthy balance between remote and in-office work, I truly appreciate how flexible the company is. Management has consistently made an effort to support work-life balance, which makes a huge difference. Supportive Team Our department is full of dedicated, driven individuals who really care about their work. We also make time to celebrate our wins with regular team outings, which helps us stay connected and motivated. Strong Benefits Package The 401(k) match and maternity leave benefits are excellent. While I haven’t used the health benefits personally, they appear to be strong—especially compared to other companies I've worked for. Improving Company Culture The company has gone through a lot of changes over the years, and it's been encouraging to see how those changes have led to a more positive, people-focused culture. We have regular celebrations and events that help keep morale high and bring everyone together. Collaborative Leadership I regularly meet with our marketing manager, and one of the most refreshing things is how often I’m asked what would make me happier at work. I’m encouraged to share what types of projects I want to do more (or less) of, and I genuinely feel heard by leadership. They work hard to ensure we’re happy in our roles. Having worked a variety of jobs before Plum Paper, I can confidently say this is the most collaborative and empathetic company I’ve been part of. When issues come up, I feel completely comfortable raising them—and they’re always addressed quickly and thoughtfully.

Cons

Lots of Change The company has gone through quite a bit of change over the years. While most of it has definitely led to improvements—like better collaboration, clearer structure, and a more organized environment—it has sometimes felt like a bit of a rollercoaster. That said, things now seem to be settling into a more stable, transparent direction, especially when it comes to communication between departments and leadership. Challenging Bonus Goals There’s been some difficulty in consistently meeting the bonus goals set by Avery. However, it feels like progress is being made, and there's more hope now than ever that these goals are within reach.

Pros

The work environment at Plum Paper is truly wonderful and as a small company, it has a family like atmosphere! the team is highly collaborative and supportive. Both direct and upper management make you feel encouraged and heard. All ideas are welcomed and frequent brainstorming sessions ensure that everyone contributes to the direction of the work that needs to be done. I feel that my voice matters, and I am given plenty of room to express my won creativity within the team. The office is calm and quite, yet lively with conversations, music and occasional office celebrations. Personal touches at your workplace are encouraged, and it's fun to see everyone's personality! The flexibility in scheduling has been especially valuable for me as a working mom, and management genuinely understands the importance of work life balance , offering flexibility with remote days when needed. the benefits package, including the 401(k), is strong and very helpful for many employees.

Cons

At times, the amount of projects and tight can feel a bit overwhelming with such a small team. Over the last year, changes in management has also added some stress and communication issues, which can occasionally create challenges. However, this transition has been for the best overall and the team continues to adapt and work through them together.

Pros

You get a free planner every year. That’s literally the only benefit I can think of.

Cons

Plum Paper got bought out by Avery Products and that acquisition has created the worst working environment I have ever been in. Micromanagement at every level, horrible communication, poor leadership, and the list goes on. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. They do not care about their employees in the slightest, and any question or concern that is brought up is met with hostility and the conversation is then shut down.
