Pros
PocketBuildings is a unique environment because everyone on the team is knowledgeable about their craft and encourages other team members to share their insights. The co-founders ask for input and actually use individual/team insights to make the product, group, and company better. On an average day, I will work with the co-founders, sales, developers, and advisors. It's inspiring to feel like your voice is heard and your work is valued at every level of the company. Respect. Appreciation. Growth....all built into the DNA of PocketBuildings.
Cons
We are a remote team, but it would be nice to be in the same office. There are lots of synergies and team ideas that happen on our all-hands calls. The PocketBuildings co-founders go out of their way to create a co-working environment and encourage everyone to reach out to each other for direct interaction. This is a very "no door at any level is closed" type of environment that simulates an office...but you have to bring your own coffee/tea!
