Pros
Great intro to Tech sales, But the same can be said for some other higher paying companies. Used to be very flexible with when you could work if you were performing. Used to have great pay. Used to trust their employees. A lot of the Pros are gone now, along with some of the best people. I just left Podium and wish I could have stayed, but the job and company changed for the worse and pay and work life balance was much higher elsewhere.
Cons
Podium used to defend its slightly below average compensation with great benefit's, of which have mostly been cut. They have also not given a raise to the SDR org in over 3 years.. The sales org has turned into a micromanaging machine around the time Than moved to CSO and Miriam became head of general Council. These things may come at a cost of preparing to go public, but could be costing Podium some of its best talent.
