Pros

I collaborate and work with some pretty awesome individuals.

Cons

A return to office policy was just mandated and I spent most of the announcement day in impromptu meetings to "collect" our feelings and ask questions. In each of these meetings ran by executives- it seemed evident that Eric Rea was the sole decider on this mandate. It was mentioned that many sr leaders were consulted before this decision, but that seems inaccurate from what we are hearing and seeing in these meetings. This mandate was made solely based on emotions and it was iterated several times that no data was used in the decision making process. In contrast to this mandate- recent pulse surveys indicated that Podium employees preferred the remote first work option. This is just the most recent perk/benefit that has been removed post Layoffs back in December. In addition to this return to office mandate, office perks such as weekly lunches, snacks, team activities were all pulled back and slashed from the budget. The worst was the removal of Podium's 401K match.
