Great team to work with! - Mechanical Designer Point Eight Power Employee Review

Great place to work! Management and coworkers!

I can't really think of any....

1. The People. Everyone that works at Point Eight Power is extremely friendly and willing to help out one another. They live by the company's values of Leadership, Authenticity, Creativity, Collaboration, and Service. Employees see each other as family. 2. Strengths-Based Culture: Everyone brings a unique set of strengths and value to the table and the company recognizes this and leverages it. Employees are put into positions that enable their strengths to shine and they even mold roles to fir the individual. 3. There is a strong "promote from within" philosophy and they invest a lot in developing their people. 4. Casual work environment - it is a pretty laid-back environment and there is a casual dress code. Friday's is crazy t-shirt day and you can wear whatever you want. 5. Focused on Strategy - they really push their mission, vision, values and do their best to align the organization to it. It's great to know how you as a person impacts the company's overall strategic objectives.

Some of the technology they use that supports business process are a bit "old school" which makes some work take longer than it should. They are working on this though, it is a part of one of their strategic initiatives to invest in technology.
