Pros
Steady work as long as the contract was renewed. adequate work/life balance when on a 12 hour shift for half of the week.
Cons
uninvolved manager; no raise in 5 years; no opportunity for overtime without prior approval from manager, even if circumstances at work needed it. no interest in retaining talent for any other contract after the original contract was not renewed by the intermediate customer (the end customer wanted retention however).
