Pros
-Good pay. -Decent benefits. 401k plan offers two to one contributions. -Comprehensive paid training that gets you ready for the job. -Generally pleasant, caring coworkers that work on diversity projects and care about company culture.
Cons
-Poor life work balance. -Stressful job that isn't rewarding. -Little opportunity to move up unless you're formally educated or meet unrealistic quotas. -Micromanagement and office politics that get in the way of productivity. Lots of arbitrary rules and expectations that prevent delivering good customer service. -Little schedule flexibility. Good luck trying to get a second job, raise a kid, go on vacation or take classes. Seems hypocritical that they want you to move up in the company, but won't let you work on your degree to be better prepared for another position.
