Is this your company?

You are a salesperson. This is not marketing. - Anonymous employee Precision Avenue Employee Review

Pros

People are nice. High energy.

Cons

Completely distort what you will be doing during the interview process. You go into your first meeting and they make you stand the entire time, no chairs. Brainwash you through a sales technique that is outdated. Stand in the middle of a Sam's club or Costco and pester people into buying overpriced cheap products and you are paid solely on commission and are not reimbursed for driving to different stores. Horrible hours. YOU ARE A SALESPERSON. Plus, the entire business model is eerily similar to a pyramid scheme. As a college graduate with dual business degrees I was being trained by someone with no college education.

Pros

I think it would do some justice to put some light for those interested in the position because all the reviews are current employees with great experiences and one-star former employees that aren't being completely fair. With that being said I am no longer at Precision Avenue. Not because of the work environment, but because I realized it was not for me and not what I wanted to do with my life. The staff and CEO are wonderful people that sincerely care about your growth and development within the program and will do whatever it takes to see you succeed and overcome obstacles. The program is designed to teach you all aspects of running a business in an accelerated fashion. If you believe that you possess the skills and attributes to being a great business owner then this is the perfect place for you to learn your strengths and weaknesses in doing so.

Cons

The downside is just like anything else in life in that great things don't come easy. There is a reason that the program is accelerated, and that is because you will spend a lot of time working and networking to reach your goals. The basis of the business is marketing and advertising different clients in retail stores. I do not consider it a sales position, but you will be expected to learn the skills to have non-awkward, persuasive conversations with people to drive revenue for clients. Therefore if you are terrified of speaking to strangers, you will be very uncomfortable, however I believe all people can learn to lose these fears if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone.
