Pros
Employee Purchase Program, team members, support from sales managers, subject matter experts - most everyone has a great knowledge base of the products and can be extremely helpful to customers and other sales associates.
Cons
The owner - micromanager with surface-level knowledge of the products. Interferes with sales associates actively trying to help customers. Unprofessional demeanor and is extremely pushy when customers are just looking for information. No formal training on systems/procedures. Other team members are extremely helpful, but a lack of structured training is not ideal. Compensation: Spiffs, Commission, and hourly rate. The hourly rate is extremely low, even with commissions/spiffs supplementing the income. Spifs can vary by month and commissions are not enough to make up for a below minimum wage hourly rate.
