Pros

I've had the pleasure of working on some incredible products and teams and this was one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my career. I started working at PredictAP early on and have been fortunate enough to see its incredible journey and fast customer growth. Even though we are remote and spread out across the country, everyone that works here seems to genuinely enjoy spending time together, as evident in our regular company retreats. People are super humble and willing to help each other out, listen, and adapt to the challenges in a startup environment. I also really enjoyed solving a clear problem from a technical perspective and keeping the focus on our user's experience. There were plenty of opportunities to own a problem, solve it creatively, and work with different members of a small, tight-knit team to see it through. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at PredictAP and would highly recommend joining anyone to join this fast moving, high-growth startup.

Cons

Lots of opportunity and a small team also means you end up juggling a lot of things at once. If you enjoy doing that, you'll thrive in this environment because you'll never get bored.

Pros

Cutting-edge technology that's used to solve a genuine business problem. Great, remote first team made up of domain and industry experts.

Cons

Remote-first approach might be a challenge for those who are used to being co-located with their teammates.

Pros

A smart, seasoned founding team familiar with the pitfalls of failed startups has been making thoughtful decisions from day one. They're avoiding the "move fast, break things" mentality and instead trying to build a strong product that solves a real problem, and invest in building a team of people who believe in what they're doing—and want to stick around. Management has done a good job of balancing the flexibility and willingness to adapt that's required from a startup with staying focused on a core problem and solving it well. For a remote company, the overall team feels very cohesive and there's a lot of trust and respect between various functional areas. People feel valued, they get to contribute in a meaningful way, and still find ways to laugh together. Benefits are great. Communication is transparent. And the product works!

Cons

There's a lot to do and not enough people to do it, just as with any new company. It can feel overwhelming to try and keep up with what larger companies in the space are doing.
