Pros

The finance director adds a bit of sanity to the place from a leadership perspective. A lot of nice and helpful people in the finance team in general which is a credit to the finance director. They were always a pleasure to work with. There genuinely are some nice people - it's just hopelessly managed! Some of the benefits are pretty decent if you're employed at any of the head offices that is. They need some sort of consultancy support to continue their growth, as they are stuck between being a small company and a growing company, but in order to be more corporate, director drinking and unfair processes shouldn't really continue. The current leadership team and senior management have no clue how to manage growth or change.

Cons

I don't even know where to begin - this is honestly the most peculiar company I have ever worked for. The leadership is absolutely non-existent with directors going out regularly to get drunk during working hours - very professional! Frankly it's embarrassing. The employees who have been in the company for years are used to the culture, but it's embarrassing when new team members join and they see drunk directors in the office. No flexibility whatsoever! I generally just always felt treated and spoken to in a much more patronising way by my manager than the rest of the team. Just reflects the favoritism in the company and that this manager could only manage one type of person. The leadership and management there is so weak and poor that as soon as someone with less than two years service struggles or doesn't perform, they'll just sack them! The probation period only exists so the head office staff can get private healthcare upon passed probation. I actually think some of the directors enjoy dismissing people and it makes them feel bigger. You won't be job secure in this company until you have 2 years of service. It created so much frustration and insecurity in our team and it was always communicated in an appalling way. One day they'd call a person into a meeting and after that, you wouldn't see them again. A lot of people in the operational part of the business are too stretched with the workload. The outcome of a staff survey they once did was a 50 pages long report for everyone to read. No actual improvements were offered. I doubt they'll get many to respond to a staff survey again. All site staff is basically treated like they're not valuable in any kind of way. Less sick pay and not any of the benefits that they offer to people employed at the head office. If you're in the head office, they may give you a bit more leeway.

Pros

Nothing, nothing at all but a waste of time

Cons

THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Left in the dark for over a month, my training period was supposed to be for 4 weeks and it went well past that with no explanations whatsoever. My manager was inconsistent with answering questions and did her best to avoid it. There is no hr department so you can’t reach anyone other than your manager. The numbers listed on the website never answers. Never got paid once during my 5+ weeks there, training stopped after the new year. Just found out today I was fired with no one calling to inform me, just couldn’t access the website. Overall bad job stay away from it if you are looking to make money to sustain yourself. I’m legit upset that I spent a whole month there when I could have used that time to find another employment.
