Pros

None really... management tried to seem fun, while actually distracting us from our jobs. They goofed around all the time while the rest of us tried to work and if we wanted to participate in the fun, then we would get called out for not doing our jobs.

Cons

Leadership set a poor example. This companies corporate structure is set up to benefit the mysoginistic white men that run it. After I was hired “for” (as in a play toy for) one of the management team, there was a bet placed by people in the office including HR as to how long it would take us to hook up. I was coming out the other end of an abusive relationship and made the perfect target for these good ol’ boys. I ended up having a short affair with this person because I thought he was one of the good ones. Wrong! A month or so in I ended breaking it off with this manager. Bad idea! Every day was terrible after that, and eventually I was fired. I believe that it was because I had served my purpose as play toy and they were finished with me. This wasn’t a one off instance either. At that time, one of my coworkers was also in the midst of filing a grievance against one of the Janesville head honchos for putting her into a very uncomfortable position.

Pros

Short Commute Good coffee in the break area

Cons

If you want to know what it was like working in the 1980's and 90's this is the perfect place to experience that atmosphere. This is a male-centric business. It is a private company so religion will be a part of meetings no matter how awkward this is for most of the room. This is a good place to start your career if you really really need the experience. This is not a company you want to retire from. There is no 401k and it takes years to become eligible for the "profit sharing" program. The healthcare benefits are so so and there is no support when there are issues with said benefits. Last year the biggest "bonus" was that vision was finally covered. PTO is a joke. Top out PTO takes 20-something years.
