Pros
I love working here. We work daily to make the world a better/safer place and we get to do it with amazing people!! PD is focused on delivering value to our customers (daily). And we're also committed to taking care of our people. From flexible work arrangements to a collaborative team environment, the company fosters a culture where employees feel valued (and well fed - lots of yummy snacks!!) Our CEO (now Gary Chance) is visionary, providing clear direction and guidance for the company (and the industry). His passion for the built world is contagious and sets the pace for our entire org!! Oh, and we also have fun together. From long-standing ping pong tournaments to hybrid company events (like game nights, documentary parties, and various internal club activities), there's always something exciting happening. These events help us get to know the people we work with (which makes coming to work fun). Overall, PD provides a place for us to execute on meaningful work and I feel fortunate to be part of such a forward-thinking organization.
Cons
As a small company, many people wear multiple hats, which fosters a culture of adaptability. Being a fast-paced work environment, you need to feel comfortable navigating varying levels of structure and support.
