Cons
The health insurance could have been better. Sometimes, the CEO would allow us to use PTO during weeks when the number of patients was low, even though we were hired as full-time employees. I never noticed he took any time off during those weeks or mentioned his pay being docked or himself taking PTO. It felt like he needed to lead by example. This meant that instead of working 40 hours that week, we could only work 32 hours and either go without pay for the remaining 8 hours or use our PTO to cover it. The CEO at the time, Rick, seemed like a typical CEO, but the clinical director, Todd, was amazing. I learned a lot from him and gained valuable clinical skills and competency. It is not a great place for a long-term career as a clinician.
