Pros
Company has great benefits and office space. My direct manager is great and why I came to prime. I thought I could make a difference.
Cons
I had high hopes that I could make a difference when I came. I have since realized that is not the case. When I asked for better tools, we were told to request it as part of a major project. A major project has been in the works for 12 months now & moved target date 3-4 times. When we asked for support from upper management, we got a "we understand" but nothing concrete came from it. When I questioned something because I didn't understand and it seemed strange, I was told to just do it the way I was told and not question it. I thought I was hired to make a difference and propel change (appropriately, not force it on people) but I've since realized people talk a lot but actions are what matter. I wanted to love this job but I don't. Also mandatory weekends were not discussed during my interview but apparently are required.
