      Pros

      Enjoyed working with most coworkers. Customers were really down to earth.

      Cons

      Very poor upper management. Company has been through like four CEOs since they were EVB. EVB was a great place to work. Sona was horrendous. Very toxic work culture with lots of backstabbing. Top producers not recognized. More worried about getting off the Federal Reserves bad list than taking care of customers or employees.

      Great environment, easy work if you’re will to learn and grow. Competitive pay and great benefits.

      Cons

      Limits opportunity to grow in the company because of higher positions are extremely long term.

      The pay was extremely good compared to other banks

      Cons

      Management was all over the place and showed blatant favoritism not based on results, but personalities. Very toxic work environment once EVB switched to Sonabank.
