Pros
No health insurance, no consistent hours, and no respect towards employees.
Cons
I worked at the Primrose school in Royersford for less than a month. During that time I did everything that the company trained me to do and conducted myself in a professional manner and treated kids and teachers with dignity and respect. Well, I did not disclose that I was pregnant because I was not sure if it was a viable pregnancy since I miscarried before. I worked in several rooms but mostly the preschool room. During that time, employees would make children sit down by forcing them on their lap or in a chair. I did not feel comfortable doing this bc of me being pregnant. Well... Needless to say, I felt obligated to because another employee told me if I did tell the office I was pregnant, they would get rid of me. Two weeks passed and I miscarried in the hospital, my four month old son. I missed three days of work, and I let the company know I could work the following Monday. I came in, and let them know of my limitations for that week. I was assigned the same room and was left alone with the children up until lunchtime. While I was punching out for lunch, I was handed a termination letter stating that I wasn't a team player. There were no specific instances or scenarios that they talked about, it was so generic and broad. I was basically let go because I miscarried and missed three days from work. During that time, I didn't even receive a phone call or an email with their condolences, and getting fired on my first day back was sand in the eyes. This company is not built on morals and values. If it is, the Primrose school in Royersford does not represent it properly.
