Poor package - low salary, no sick pay, minimum holidays and no bonus/equity schemes; Expectation to work outside contracted hours for no compensation; Vast majority of training expected to be done in your own time; Extreme micromanagement, guilt-tripping and repeatedly lied to about release dates; Poor employee retention and high turnover; Gaslighting about what is 'normal' in the tech-industry/start-ups when it's verifiably false (e.g. that their expectations of hours, lack of equity, lack of time-off-in-lieu and lack of benefits is what you find everywhere, when that is not the case)
