Where to start. First, this place is the quintessential "revolving door". They never stop hiring, ever. People are constantly being fired or quitting. When they quit it's usually out of frustration. For me, it was sheer boredom. Bottom line - they have 30 people doing the work of 20. They could stop hiring now and probably be set for the next 5 years, as there are a handful of committed, successful people there that could easily handle the volume. But no. They continually bring in new staff, to whom they advertise "warm leads, no cold calls", etc. Then you sit and wait for the phone to ring. And wait, and wait. When it finally does, it's for one of he other reps who was too lazy to give the client their direct extension. So, then you go to the back of the line. And wait, and wait. Now, if you can stand the extreme boredom and the clique-ish atmosphere, and still manage to succeed, you will probably be doing pretty well after a few years. There are reps there who are making good bank. But it definitely takes a certain personality type to be successful here. I was doing fine in sales, no problems, and poised to continue to grow. But I couldn't stand coming to work each day. I felt like I was wasting my life here. And also, they foster a backstabbing type of atmosphere. For instance, when I worked there, there was specific things I was told NOT to do when I was in training. Then, a few months later, they were telling the new reps to do the exact same things they told me not to do. Kind of irritating if you are the kind of person who follows the rules. There was one guy who was outright STEALING orders from other reps, and I'm pretty sure he still works there. When someone quits, the way they allocate that person's account base shows favoritism in the worst way. So, if you're a self-respecting person who plays fair and who doesn't like to waste time, you probably won't fit in. If you don't mind sitting around bored all day, or like to hang with high school-style cliques, and don't mind screwing others over, you'll probably love it.
