Pros

The coworkers who help you get through the day.

Cons

Married couple on their 3rd failing business. Yes you ready correctly. I urge any prospective employee to head these warnings before joining Printfresh. First, you will be extremely overworked. Your life will have to become the job and that still will not be good enough for them. One person accounts for multiple areas of business to oversee and you will often be scolded for small mistakes because the managers/owners don’t actually know what anyone does day to day. This business runs like a true white liberal company. They have good “values” while overworking and underpaying their employees and keeping an all white staff. They’ll work you to the bone and degrade you then pride themselves on having free snacks in the office. The founder thinks she’s the next Gwenyth Paltrow (lol) while passively ordering people around through other employees. She won’t actually directly tell you what’s wrong you’ll find out weeks later that you made a comment she took the wrong way. She also continually halts creative processes at the 11th hour because “she just didn’t like it” without being involved for ANY of the process from the beginning because she’s busy leaving to get her hair done for 4 hours. Her CEO(lol) husband is busy listening to podcasts about Elon Musk to determine how he’s going to run the business that week. He constantly talks over people and will overwork you by slacking or calling you at all hours. His main objective is to “build a $100 million dollar company”, which to me is laughable. He does not care how much he overworks and underpays his employees. They do not value any employee. All of these reviews from their previous failing business are true. Proceed with CAUTION. Ps. the husband and wife hate each other and it’s palpable in every aspect of their business.

Pros

Flexibility in hours. Working from home during pandemic. This is a small business that values employee input. Weekly meetings where everyone has a chance to be heard and have their issues solved. The office has recently relocated to a new studio in a safer neighborhood.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly, so sometimes hours go past what is considered typical work hours. There is a lot of work to be done and the team is small.

Pros

Work life balance and discount

Cons

The company frequently renews short-term contracts instead of offering full-time opportunities, creating a false sense of job security. Interns and entry-level employees are often used for cheap labor with high expectations, only to be let go once they’ve served their purpose — regardless of performance or dedication. There’s little room for internal growth, and rather than promoting from within, they prefer to hire externally “in the best interest of the company.” It’s disappointing to put in so much effort and receive so little investment in return.
