Pros

Progression is not a "watch you drown" kind of company. It is not a "everyone's in competition" kind of company. They are a "watch you rise" kind of company. Everyone has a "we go further as a team" mindset - the team player culture is one of the strongest most positive things about Progression. This is a "use your voice to make a change" kind of company. It will allow you to take on challenges, rise up, implement change, use your growth to project greater policies, voice up on your ideas then use your ideas to be versatile. The team is lean, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and this is something that the management acknowledges. You will be surrounded by people who put a lot of effort in what they do, especially when hitting your quotas is important. I'll be lying if I said there has never been intensity or there has never been friction - of course there is! There are bound to be intense days!! Even though there are disagreements, people don't hold grudges because they have a shared team vision. You don't have to deal with bad energy or toxic politics day in, day out. Josephine - Progression's overall boss is a leader with a heart. She listens, she cares, she pushes when she needs to, and she demands a culture where everyone is celebrated - THAT'S the company's VIBE CHECK!

Cons

- Naturally, there are days that will be intense and you might have longer working hours, but the company allows you to manage your own time. There is no micro management surrounding this.

Pros

Faculty, Staff and Administrators work together in a tough environment so make the best of things with limited resources and often little parental support. Sub can choose assignments in advance on-line. Pay is higher than many suburban districts.

Cons

Behavioral techniques and programs vary from building to building so that can be confusing. Procedures for recess and lunch also vary. Little advanced warning of known behavioral issues when entering a classroom for the first time. I left because I could not get a full-time position.

Hi, thanks for your feedback although you probably meant to submit this review for another company. We are a headhunting firm in Singapore, we dont have teachers or faculty members but lots of cool headhunters here :)
