Possible Disaster - Senior Manager Property Management Employee Review

Pros

Salary and benefits are more than adequate

Cons

There’s a toxic employee pretty high up in the food chain. If you come under their radar expect Management to take up their side and slam the door on common sense and reason. Best to wait until after 2040 if you have hopes of advancement. As for advancing, they enjoy ambition above and beyond actual productivity. So whatever they offer you can probably ask for 10-20% more than that and improve not just your immediate financial goals but your status as a go getter. Glassdoor asks for a review of the company president, which I have no real issue with. But as the poster boy for the upper management team Eric has shown the attitude of, “I’m making far too much money to jeopardize it by doing the right thing about the toxic employee.”

Pros

Senior Leadership, (President, SVP, VP) is pretty relatable/approachable, knows everyone's name, lives an open door policy, etc. Mid level managers are very hands on New structure seems promising Fair pay and good PTO

Cons

Tech is not up to current industry standards There's a new SOP rolled out almost once a month - not necessarily a "con" but can be frustrating but we didn't have them before, so it's a plus eventually. Accounting is too in the weeds sometimes C suite can be a bit arrogant, but they aren't in the day to day

Pros

Great atmosphere and people. Makes work enjoyable even when situationally busy.

Cons

Lack of remote work and flexibility made it difficult to be flexible when needed.
