Pros
The company is well-known in the tech industry. The office in Skopje is modern and well-organized. Perks such as free meals and full health insurance contribute to a professional work environment. Benefits like public transport allowance bike allowance parking fitness kit are also a big part but only partially covered.
Cons
No structured onboarding or training was provided for the role. The "training" team based in Taiwan offered no practical guidance or mentorship. Even though in IT firms self-research is a must which is understandable new hires are expected to fully self-learn a technical role regardless of their background which is highly unrealistic. The company hired someone without a tech background fully aware of the fact yet expressed dissatisfaction just days into the role. By day four management was already expressing disappointment despite no actual work having been assigned and before any fair opportunity to adapt to the environment and expectations. There was no local team or colleague present to support the transition into the role. The feedback process was one-sided and accountability was completely shifted onto the new hire rather than addressing the failure of their own training approach.
