Pros
Excellent place to work! Physicians are friendly to everyone; new leadership is authentic, compassionate and caring. We often see the CEO in our unit and around the hospital. He is friendly, listens and proactive.
Cons
Everything in healthcare these days is a challenge. People left thinking the pasture was greener on the other side but are now clamoring to come back because they saw the advantages of being part of the Providence family. Very different than competitors culture. Doctors talk to nurses and everyone cares about the patients and their families and each other.
