Pros

Management is great! They find every opportunity to incentivize our work. I'm unsure what the 1 star reviews are talking about. They may have left reviews for the wrong company!? There is no "lady" running the company for the owner. Or possibly unhappy about being let go for poor attendance and or illegally obtaining documents for clients...not sure who they could be or what they are talking about. There is a location in California, as well as a new location in Grand Rapids MI. The company is growing and thriving. Benefits are also better than most places I have worked. The culture has taken a little hit because of COVID but they are always having celebrations, happy hour events or buying us lunch when we can all make it into the office. Tons of PTO, health insurance, Dental and Vision options. LTD and STD available. FSA and HSA options. all inclusive paid trips from some insurance carriers if you meet their sales goal set for yearly contests. 3 year anniversary trip through Provision. Training was 100% paid for and there is a bonus if you pass your state licensing exam on the first try.

Pros

Provision is different from the rest of the insurance industry in that it has a very fun, youthful, and relaxed culture, whereas I feel like most other places are more staid and rigid. Management is incredibly helpful and supportive. And of course it's great to work for a company that's growing so fast! Perhaps the best way I can sum it up is this: I never look at another insurance agency or brokerage and think to myself, "I'd rather work there."

Cons

The onboarding and training process could be...smoother. Although a lot of emphasis is (understandably) placed on passing the licensing exam, I feel like there should be more training for new producers and AMs in the simple day-to-day tasks of their jobs; right now training largely consists of just going through quotes with different carriers, which is important, but doesn't address a lot of other stuff. In a similar vein, I feel like there should be a better, more central system for information-sharing within the company, as I feel a lot of the same questions get asked and re-asked all the time. Finally, I feel the company as a whole could be a little bit more tech-savvy, although management has thankfully made that a priority for 2021.
