Pros
Feels somewhat stable but a culture of favoritism. However, my experience, favoritism culture not unusual in O&G shops. Good work/life balance though personally, I'm not a fan of the PTO (paid-time-off system).
Cons
**Strong, experienced performers get lost and forgotten here** Good 'ol boy system still in play here which grows an environment of unsavory political games among employees in order to be recognized and get access to title, pay and projects. It also fosters an environment of some working hard while others hardly working.
