Pros
Adopted and implemented Lean Management techniques to improve its efficiencies in these austere times for the print industry. The salespeople receive periodic training to improve their order closing skills. Employees that wish to take on new or greater challenges are given the opportunity so long as it makes sense for the vision and goals of the company. Good quality of work-life balance. It's product line is first-rate with strong brand awareness and high customer loyalty.
Cons
Here is where this review's title comes into play. The print industry has been in upheaval since 2008 with demand for web offset equipment diminishing not only for new presses but also for modernizing existing presses. It's a double-whammy for any press auxiliary manufacturer and, unfortunately, the industry has not seen any such supplier close their doors. This makes for a very cut-throat pricing environment that the company must continue to navigate through for 3 more yeas at minimum.
