Pros
Opportunities for overtime, no expectation to answer emails and do work outside of work hours, although this could be different due to work behavior changes post-COVID. Really looking for some more positives here.. summer Friday's?
Cons
- Work can be tediously boring after learning most things within the first 6 months or so. -There is little to no room for growth in the department or company and the few opportunities will be filled by people who have been there for 5-10+ years. This job should be used as an entry level job or stepping stone to the next opportunity. - Department manager was the definition of a micro-manager who played favorites, making you email the entire department if more than 10 minutes late to work, even though they were often late themselves, employees were hourly, and most work was done individually with little affect on others. I can go on.... Unsure if department leadership is still the same 2 years later but for the sake of future employees, hopefully not.
