Quaker chemical Is a company that's been around for years. There's always room for advancement. It's also a company where you can pick up a bunch of skills.

It's only one shift mornings.

* A lot of dedicated, talented people in the labs that really back up the company's tagline * Relaxed atmosphere * Good overall vision for present and future success * For the most part the people are really nice (the last two bullets are why I gave this 3 stars)

* Boss was fired on first day, so it became really disorganized and never recovered. * While the people were nice, the marketing department was, at best, a mixed bag. Not very welcoming or communicative, perhaps partially because of the boss being fired - it took a week to get introduced to people and the person who supposed to help get me acclimated told me 3 hours in to "look through that pile of papers and see what you find and stuff." * Traffic can be brutal, even if you take back roads.
