Pros

It starts off strong with lots of praise and involvement in new hires. Catered lunches at times. Free snacks and coffee. Some great co-workers. Office dogs. Competitive pay. Treated fairly financially (buying software, reimbursements, pay, etc).

Cons

All the negative reviews are pretty accurate. It's true that being the CEO of a tech company is extremely stressful, and no one reacts perfectly all the time. However, there is no direction and no vision. The product is not sustainable, and it's clear that the only reason that the company is still around is because of connections. If you ask for direction, you're given nothing to go off of except for flowery examples. Everyone is blamed for the companies shortcomings except management. The long hours are unnecessary because the direction will change the next day, but your value is based on the hours you work and not the creativity, productivity, or initiative you take. The turnover rate for any team other than dev is extremely high. The CTO is great and protects his team but any other team managed by the CEO is normally treated pretty unfairly. They preach strong values, but it's all surface level. I can guess based on titles that the positive reviews on here are either from employees under okay management/worked in sales part-time or were not involved long enough to know the true issues. You will leave this job feeling demoralized. If you're still hesitant then take a look at LinkedIn of past employees and how long they lasted at the company. Ask to review the platform before taking the job to see if it's something you believe is valuable. Look at similar companies and the capital they have raised and their digression. The company has been around for 6+ years, and has not turned a profit. Do your research before taking the job, and if you do just be prepared for long hours, and thick skin.
