Pros

Remote work is fantastic. They don't care when you get the work done, just as long as it gets done. There are pockets of people who care deeply about the work being done amongst those who are just "doing a job." Bonuses are nice when they are approved. Learning opportunities are abundant if you know where to look and who to ask.

Cons

Leadership is not leading. They are only managing. There are lots of double standards and they are overlooking poor performers who should be replaced and ignoring top performers who deserve acknowledgement. Process improvement is not a priority. Change is not handled well, including turnover. It's the "elephant in the room" and leadership are in denial. Big decisions are being made in a vacuum and then communicated poorly. Information is shared inefficiently and is not centralized. Salaries are not increasing, while inflation is skyrocketing. Cost of living pay increases are not a benefit any longer. Performance is no longer a factor in salary reviews, which removes incentive for top performers.

Thank you for sharing your experience—and for your 10 years with Quisitive. We really appreciate your commitment. It’s great to hear you enjoy the team, the projects, and the opportunity to keep learning and growing. As an IT consulting firm with a goal to be best-in-class, billing is a standard part of how we operate. We set clear expectations and strive to balance those standards with flexibility, support, and transparency—so motivated individuals can thrive and focus more on the work and impact, not just the hours.

Pros

Remote work options and autonomy in managing your schedule. Talented colleagues. Interesting work. Exposure to Microsoft technologies, cloud projects, and enterprise clients.

Cons

Lack of leadership support. Employees are not held responsible for unprofessional behavior or disrespect to fellow employees. Different departments operate with different priorities. Holidays and vacation allowances vary significantly depending on location, which creates a sense of inequity among employees.
