Pros

Snacks and gifts. You can meet cool and nice people with different cultural backgrounds.

Cons

People are leaving recently not due to a high-pressure working environment, but poor senior management, for instance, people from senior management team shout and swear sometimes, have no leadership, blame culture, when they need you to work they compliment you but normally you don't get much encouragement, instead, the work is judged unprofessionally, by the people with little knowledge of Chinese culture but criticise based on personal preference, sometimes it can be disrespectful and demotivated.

Pros

- The nearby food scene might be the only comfort. - You’ll meet lots of friendly colleagues—though most of them will be fired in no time.

Cons

- Sky-high turnover rate: I can't even remember how many former colleagues I’ve had. If you don’t hit unrealistic profit targets within three months, you’re fired—regardless of your role. - Empty promises: Qumin lures talent with offers of work visas. In reality, even visa-sponsored staff are let go without hesitation. Don’t trust anything they promise in your interview. - Zero-growth environment: There are no senior leaders worth learning from. Qumin has no interest in developing its people—they always rely on vendors’ work. Expect a painfully slow learning curve. - Profit-above-all mindset: Qumin’s so-called “7-hour workday” sounds dreamy, but here’s the catch: you’re expected to complete all your daily tasks within those hours. Need more time? Not allowed—it eats into margins. The only solution? Unpaid overtime.
