Leadership fosters a culture of fear, favoritism, and dysfunction. “Accountability” only applies to those without political capital. Feedback is rarely welcomed—unless it’s flattery. Constructive criticism is treated as disloyalty. High turnover is normalized. People leave quietly, or are pushed out without transparency. Burnout is common, boundaries are discouraged, and “work-life balance” is more of a recruiting slogan than a reality.
