      Developing culture, lot's of talented colleagues, good balance of analtical and pragmatic approach to solving client needs. Leadership is strong for Cost & Quality

      Cons

      Long hours, yet rewarding work. We need talent at the mid level not just top and bottom employees! Business casual dress would be nice

      No promotions, and the yearly pay increase is basically the inflation rate

      Pros

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
