      -Innovative company that continues to develop and improve solutions -Excellent growth as a leading player in a relatively recession proof Healthcare sector -Unique business model that limits competition -Intelligent/motivated employees -Fun team (work hard, play hard mentality) -Tremendous visibility to upper management with lots of opportunity to show your talents -Multiple job functions and roles with continuous learning across many different client sites -Reward of improving operations at both industry leading and troubled Healthcare organizations

      Cons

      -Experience can very across client sites and role -Travel/ relocation can be difficult for someone not accustomed to the lifestyle

      No promotions, and the yearly pay increase is basically the inflation rate

      Pros

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
