      Accretive Health is a fast paced Revenue Cycle company that supports its growth and expanding ventures through its dedication to hiring and supporting the best talent. Accretive looks to promote from within and provides all of its training to its hires. They expect hard work and looks for it in its employees, but the compensation is on the level.

      Cons

      Depending on the position, travelling or relocation may be necessary; however, to some this is can be a pro.

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
