Pros

There are none, not evolving with the times.

Cons

Management doesn’t listen, doesn’t develop, doesn’t change, doesn’t allow anonymity, it’s their way or it’s considered the wrong way. Family owned and managed; if you have their last name, you will be compensated and valued.

Pros

Working with RAM Hotels is like perceiving Hospitality at its finest!! I have found the work environment to be incredibly supportive and collaborative. The Team is always willing to help each other, and the leadership is always open to any feedback and suggestions. I am proud to be working for a company that values the community and brings a positive impact on others.

Cons

I believe that the company could improve morale and retention by implementing a showcase of how Too's and hands on experience. For example, showing a new breakfast host how to properly showcase the breakfast area and present it to the guest. Most of new hires do not know how to properly exploit hospitality to the guest. Having a mentor to show them would be affective.

Pros

Headstrong Money flows Undying business The upper management is very business oriented and always thinking of another way to grow. They will make sure their properties maintain a high standard. At least the ones they care about.

Cons

Cut throat. Snakey with pay. With a certain level of business minded people, comes a certain lack of humanity. Very cross your cut throat and turnover is high. They offer NO benefits for full time. Pay is semi monthly which makes tracking overtime pay difficult and easy for them to write off, and wait times on checks fluctuate. There were several times when incentives would be skipped or management would reward some random small sum without actually calculating the owed amounts. Employees have hours cut often to avoid overtime or actually reaching a full 40. Employees who were out sick or ran late would face backlash by being reduced to part time. Standards are high and caring is low.
