      Worst company I've worked at yet - Chief Engineer RAR Hospitality Employee Review

      They'll pay you You might have two days off if you're hourly You can do drugs they don't test or run backgrounds

      Cons

      Have no clue how to run hotels Will illegally treat you Won't follow the rules they set up All managers are treated worse than hourly associates

      Wish I had seen this when it was posted. As CEO, I would have looked into it. However, the hotel that employed this person is an award-winning Marriott hotel with a strong GM. Sometimes the complainer is the problem, but the comment about illegal acts is over the top for a company that has been transparent and legal for 30 years.

      Management friendly, the owner is super personable and really cares about his staff

      Cons

      Not much really, I guess there could be more training and development for internal staff

      Pros

      - Not a lot of micromanaging - Relaxed and engaged leadership with a positive outlook - Respectful of personal time, as much as is possible for working in hotels - The CEO gets it, is knowledgeable about the industry and is realistic - Not a lot of turnover - NICE hotels with happy guests and upbeat environments to work in - Decent bonus structure for salaried managers

      Cons

      - No 401k - Health insurance coverage is so-so (as good as it can be for a smaller business) - Not many opportunities for advancement or lateral movement because the company downsized

      Thanks for the input. While we haven't had many events since our 30th anniversary party on 2-20-20, agree we need to have events going forward. Starting a matching funds 401K is desirable but best we can do today is hook you up with a 401K that we just started--no match yet. Contact me anytime. Bob Rauch, CEO
