Pros
-Rcap can be a rewarding place to work. I learned a lot when during my time. -its a company where you can build connection within your community and learn various programs offered to assist the community. -I felt helpful when I worked at RCAP, I developed a tenacity for problem solving and overall, I enjoyed being in an environment where you see a diverse group of clients.
Cons
this job was insufferable. this place has one of the most toxic work environment. it made me hate working for non-profit. the work load is heavy and it stresses out the employees. the supervisors are divisive, I rarely felt like they were there to help and guide me. a lot selfish motivations and blaming due to fear. I wish the government would take it easy during auditing so supervisors do not have to find scapegoats to keep their job. this place...to be honest I don't know how they will fix or adjust the work environment. I lost hope for it and working there made me depressed. it feels like squid games but emotional manipulation.
