Pros

Good work environment, though please note you will unlikely be physically working at an RLA location and more likely with a company they contract with. When contract business good, you are good.

Cons

Your performance (regard) is directly a byproduct of the company in contract with RLA that you are located. When contract business is in a slump, it is possible that your particular job may end.

Pros

It's a job where you are the product. RLA sells your services to HP. You can ignore all your monthly meetings with your RLA manager, because what are they going to do? RLA will not fire you. They need you to work, because you are their revenue stream.

Cons

The RLA managers still try to micromanage you. If you travel on an HP business trip RLA tries to put you on a per diem, even though they just expense everything back to HP.
