Pros

I've worked for many companies, and I can confidently say that ROBO is by far the most caring and kind organization I’ve ever been a part of. They contribute generously to employee benefits and offer 8 weeks of fully paid paternity leave — something you don’t see often. Time off is never an issue, especially when it comes to mental health, which is taken very seriously at ROBO. Leadership truly cares about their employees. Every day feels like a team effort, where everyone is working together to get the job done. The office is always stocked with snacks, coffee, meals, and everything you need to be productive and successful. We’re consistently recognized for our accomplishments and rewarded with team-based incentives. If you're looking for a fast-growing, hard-working, and supportive place to build your career, ROBO is the place to be.

Cons

I do not have any cons personally.

Pros

Coworkers are nice some of them are talented

Cons

So, the company got snagged by a venture capital outfit, and ever since, it's been on a bit of a downhill slide. People reminisce about the good old days before that happened, but I wasn't around for that. The new CEO is not a fan of giving out raises, and it seems like IT is a bit of a mystery to them. The benefits are or etty embarrassing for a tech company, especially here in Austin. We get a lot of pep talks about the future of robo, but it doesn't feel like they're too invested in keeping our pay up with the cost of living. They hired me, didn't mention anything about being on the road, and suddenly, I'm a "hybrid employee" whenever they need it. If you're cool with dealing with folks who don't know a thing about IT but got hired 'cause they're cheap, then this is your spot. Managers here won't have your back, and there's no HR, so good luck protecting yourself. Managers mostly have less than three years of IT experience, because they're buddies who helped each other out. Unless you're a total newbie looking to get your foot in the tech door, I'd say steer clear. Don't waste your talents and time here.
