Pros

Flexible work options (4/10 or 9/80)

Cons

Salaries do not account for inflation yet the executives and share holders pockets keep growing. There is blatant favoritism for internal applicants so unless you're friends with the hiring manager, you won't get the position. And multiple positions up and cancel since management doesn't want to spend the extra money to hire another body, but instead overwork their existing employees. If you approach management with genuine advice for improvement, it's immediately shut down. Raytheon prides themselves on underpaying and overworking their employees. Thousands have left this company because of their vaccine mandate and their competitors offering them better pay and benefits, and more continue to leave.

Pros

I worked at Raytheon for over 4 years and had a great experience. The company provided many learning and growth opportunities. I was promoted twice during my tenure with the company, and my responsibility increased significantly. I felt like my management supported me and provided me with the career mentorship that I was seeking. I felt empowered and respected during my time there.

Cons

It can be difficult to work at such a large defense contractor company because of all the process and red tape. Things can move slowly, you have to be patient and pick your battles. That being said, if you learn how to work within the system, you can make a significant impact here!
